Next Meeting: Thurs, Oct 23rd

Hey folks,

Just a quick reminder that the next meeting is Thurs, Oct 23rd at the LGBT Community Center, 4pm.

We'll be discussing the presentation of Lori Benson (head of the DOE's fitness and health office) at our last meeting, as well as thinking through some short- and long-term advocacy strategies for achieving better sex ed in the city.

SEANYC Backgrounder

We recently created a one-page SEANYC backgrounder. Please give it a look and post any feedback or edits here or to the SEANYC listserv.

We're hoping to get all feedback in by end of the day tomorrow so that we can finalize the document and begin using it for outreach.
